Is body lean steering right for you?

Deciding whether body lean steering is the best choice for you depends upon your injury and abilities.  Many find that they can ride our body lean steered bikes that didn't think so beforehand.  They only take a short time to learn and carving a turn while leaning into it like a bicycle becomes very addicting.

Some trunk control is necessary but some riders with very little find that by using the handlebars when needed they are able to ride one and love it.  Once you're pedaling they self center and remain balanced and upright.  Only a tilt of your head is needed to initiate turning.
Once a rider chooses body lean steering we find that they will ride no other design.  (Please call us first for advice and we'll answer all your questions.)

The latest LC-1 has four new innovative features:
 1)  The LC-1 comes standard with a powerful Avid disc brake for effortless braking on those long downhill descents.  This virtually eliminates the danger of overheating the rims and tires which can cause tube failure.

2)  All LC-1's come standard with   Shimano shifting mounted on the
T-handles for convenient hands-on shifting, pedaling and braking.  It works so well you'll wonder how you got along without it.

3)  One reason the new shifter and brake location works so well is because of our new
cable routing tubes that direct the cables low and rearward out of the rider's field of view.  Another reason is this revolutionary new (patent pending) design also minimizes cable rotation and flex while pedaling.  This   prevents cable fatigue which is the major cause of breakage on the other handcycles design.

A final and very important aspect of the new design is how it places the weight and flex of the cables in a completely neutral balanced position with respect to the T-handles. his means that while pedaling you can't feel them and its like they aren't even there!

4)  We've created the ability to easily change the width of the T-handles to suit your style.  By simply changing the length of a bolt and spacer you can change their width to 14"-16"-18" in just minutes.
